I've had the same steel grate in my fireplace for over 20 years, and it really just started sagging and falling apart. I purchased this item on a whim, and wow!!! I am so impressed with the quality as well as the stability of the product. The steel pieces in this product are not as thick as my old grate, but I'm loving it so far. It's handled every fire I've had in my fireplace without issue. Structurally sound and solid. I hope is stays that way for many years to come. Highly recommend!
