  • The Micro Shapers A are a unique tool in high quality stainless steel designed by the technical team of Artesanía Latina, from the Micro Tools Collection. This set of micro shapers allows you to shape / profile wooden and plastic strips. It is perfect for creating moldings with different shapes to decorate their models. Each set consists of three plates with about 15/16 shapes per plate, so you can get more than 45 different reliefs and designs on your miniatures.

  • The tool works by scrapping the shape along and over a wooden or platic strip. You can watch video tutorial for more info.

  • MEASURES OF THE MICRO SHAPERS A The measures you can find in the micro shapers type A are: 0.040''x0.118'' (1x3 mm) 0.040''x0.157'' (1x4 mm) 0.040''x0.196'' (1x5 mm) 0.078''x0.078'' (2x2 mm) 0.078''x0.157'' (2x4 mm) 0.078''x0.196' (2x5 mm) 0.157''x0.157'' (4x4 mm). NOTE: Before using the micro shaper, a sandpaper should be used to eliminate burrs, rough edges or small irregularities. To do this, slide smoothly in one direction, upwards.

Perhaps like me, you finally threw up your hands in disgust one day and said paying Gillette $40 or more for 12 blade cartridges was getting a little out of hand. I see some stores actually have those blade cartridges locked up and need to be retrieved by a clerk! They make a fine product that gives a wonderful shave, of course.

When I went back to safety razors a couple of years ago, I tried MANY different blades. By my count, 18 different kinds of blades. I used each type of blade at least 3 separate times. Not shaving 3 times, but using 3 new blades at different times, and kept notes on the performance. Nothing crazy, Just a 1-5 star rating, and a couple of notes jotted on the box about what I thought. And these are the ones I kept going back to.
