It really takes two people to put these bunk beds together but it is not a hard job. You have to follow the instructions carefully so you do all the steps in order. All the parts lined up beautifully. It says you should not use a drill for installing the bolts and screws but my friend and I did.

The glider is perfect for my front porch. It is sturdy and does exactly what it is supposed to do. The directions are really bad for assembly (I would offer to write better ones if I could!) and so half way through I was completely stumped. Also there is little possibility of one person assembling this on their own even though I assemble everything I buy. I had to call my neighbors to come over and it took all three of us to not only figure out what the directions were saying, but then to hold the pieces in place while we fastened them together. The end product is wonderful, however.
