Tried several batteries in remote and no go so can’t use timer. Had it only 2months and says I can’t return.

I've tried many flameless candles in the past, some more expensive than others. I decided to try SoftFlame based on the reviews. I'm pleasantly surprised as to the quality! I love the many features, bright or dim mode.
