there was only one strand on a chair that seemed ready to snap. So far it’s been two months (edit: over a year now) and it hasn’t snapped so it might just be defected. Honestly, even if it did snap, I’d still be happy with this set. Definitely worth the money and looks.

This is really a sturdy set of furniture. The chairs are large and roomy to sit on with or without the cushions. Be careful with the cushions as they do show dirty easily. I used a teak sealer on my set to preserve the beautiful honey/tan color. To add comfort, I put an outdoor pillow on each chair for back support. I would recommend this set.
