I love these lights - I purchased two sets. I have been looking all over for LED "chaser" lights...they are almost impossible to find. These are replacing a couple of standard light sets that I had for years...the older ones were programmable with various light patterns and I really wanted to upgrade to LED's.

It stretches a good 10 ft wide and hangs 7 ft. It comes with a remote to select the mode for the lights. The settings are mentioned behind the remote. The lights are bright and it does not heat up at all. I used it in an event behind some fabric curtains and it did not heat up.
