I bought this for soldering my model railroad stuff. The clips hold well but it’s tough to tighten them to the point they don’t move. Also the base is light so it can tip over easily. I still use it, but if I had to do it over again I’d buy a heavier one with more stable arms.

The item arrived folded neatly and wrapped in bubble wrap in a surprisingly compact box. The magnifying glass had fingerprint smudges that required cleaning before use (honestly it felt a little gross and I cleaned the whole thing), after which it's mostly great.
